About Suzanne

Suzanne Southard paints and draws from her home in Kansas City, Missouri, where she lives with her husband and two kids.

She works mostly in acrylic on wood panel, sometimes combined with ink drawing, and also collaborates with her graphic artist husband Tim Hill of Draft Horse Studio — watch for new designs and fun products! She has painted murals and worked in many media over the years. She majored in Human Services, but has studied fine art along the way at Ottawa University (Ottawa, Kansas) and Towson University and Maryland Institute College of Art. 

She is the co-founder of SouveNEAR, a Kansas City-based business that sells locally-made art and gifts from vending machines in airports and other locations around the country.
